Ultracontour Bodyshaping

All about Ultracontour Bodyshaping

What is Ultracontour®?

Ultracontour® is a new dual therapeutic device for optimal results in non-invasive body shaping.

Unlike liposuction, which involves highly invasive surgery and the discomfort of the healing process, Ultracontour® is a fast and painless way to achieve a better body shape.

Many people find after several treatements that they don’t need another one for longer, because they have “unlearned” the habit of frowning or squinting that originally led to the development of these lines.

Put simply, Ultracontour® dissolves unwanted fat cells while leaving surrounding tissue unharmed. The results are amazing: expect a reduction of up to 2cm from the waist measurement after the first treatment. Most patients see a reduction in 3-5 circumferential cms after a course of six or less treatments, spaced a week apart.

The Process

Ultrasound has been used since the early 1950’s. During more recent times ultrasound has expanded beyond the imaging realm, with methods and applications extending to novel therapeutic and surgical uses.

Ultracontour is a more advanced system, combining High Foculised Ultrasound (HFU) and Ultrasound Multi-Lymphatic Drainage (UMD) to treat specific areas of resistant fat and cellulite.

Ultracontour is unique with its Dual System:

De-polymerisation or molecular dissociation of the tri-glycerides and an increase in their fluidity.

Lipolysis or ejection of fat acid outside of adipocyte via the stable cavitation phenomena and by the increase of the permeability of the adipocyte.

De-fibrosis by mechanical action of the connective tissue in the hypodermis.

UMD Ultrasoundsto treat fat liberates in the interstitial tissue: Necessity of evacuation of the waste immediately after Focal session, using natural lymphatic drainage otherwise human body tends to recapture approximately 80 % of those liquid waste in untreated adipocytes within few hours.

Post-Treatment Responsibilities for Ultracontour

The Ultracontour treatment combined with positive diet and exercise changes, should result in a noticeable improvement in your body shape over the next two-to-three months.

As with any treatment, success is based on your commitment to long-term change.

To help maintain your results, establishing a diet and exercise programme is essential.

Dietary requirements are simple: avoid refined, high glycemic index carbohydrates, including: white bread, rice, crisps, biscuits and sweets etc. and instead opt for moderate amounts of low glycemic index carbohydrates, such as potatoes and full grain bread.

Aim to eat moderate quantities of lean meat, chicken and fish and load-up on antioxidant-rich vegetables.

It is important to avoid oils of any description. These include: butter, margarines and excessive quantities of olive oil or other refined oils as they have a high calorie content.

Make sure you drink two litres of water a day, both to stay hydrated and assist in flushing toxins out of your body.

Alcohol should be limited because it also has a relatively high calorie content.

Aim for 30 minutes of aerobic exercise daily (that is exercise to the point of perspiration) to increase cardiovascular fitness, help to burn fat and avoid deposits of new fat.
